The Challenge
Talking Leaves needed a single-page public-facing website that introduced the people behind the work—without revealing proprietary details. The client shared a variety of scattered draft text and notes that had to be shaped into one clear, cohesive story. The webpage also needed to feel both tech-minded and creative, and present the team as real, approachable humans—not a set of résumés—while staying intentionally high-level about the framework.
-
Turn disorganized inputs into cohesive, on-brand copy that reads smoothly
-
Lead with people and personality while keeping specifics intentionally vague
-
Establish a tech-meets-creative visual tone that feels simple and confident
-
Keep the page light and scannable so first-time visitors get the gist quickly
The Solution:
We built a simple, people-first landing website for Talking Leaves that says who they are and how they think—without oversharing. We organized and edited the client’s copy into a single voice, refined short statements for the hero and value bullets, and wrote bios that balance role with a few personal details. To set the look, we gave art-direction for the client’s professional photoshoot (wardrobe/background guidance) for cohesive portraits and created an AI-assisted header image that echoes the logo with a painterly feel. After a few layout iterations, we partnered with our longtime web developer to implement the design on WordPress and wrapped up with a quick training so the team can edit text themselves going forward. Throughout the project, the founder noted how smoothly everything ran and called out our project management skills.
-
Content shaping: Edited disparate inputs into clear messaging and scannable sections
-
People-first bios: Professional details plus light personal notes—human, not résumé
-
Design style: Logo-inspired header art, clean modular layout, simple typography
-
Build & handoff: WordPress implementation + client training
The result was a concise, team-forward page that reflects the brand’s mindset—professional, creative, and minimal—helping the client start better conversations with interested collaborators.
