The Challenge

Our client, a large Canadian chain of toy stores, needed assistance designing products tailored to fit its in-store brand.
 

• Packaging needed to match the client’s universal brand and appeal to specific age groups, while maintaining a polished feel
   

• A tight production schedule required our team to follow prompts with minimal involvement from the client

 

The Solution

We worked with the client to establish a process to communicate their exact needs clearly, resulting in many approved designs with very little energy spent on the back-and-forth.
 

• 10 products were produced within 3 months, to supplement the skills of their in-house design team at the height of a high-volume season
   

• Our self-directed project management oversaw photo retouching, package design, text editing, production art, and pre-press to ease the client’s burden
   

With a systematic process established on both sides for submission, quoting, review, approval, and delivery, the client got exactly what they needed: multiple new products on the shelves of 70+ stores, with no fuss or time wasted on unnecessary chatter.
